We planned on having a total of ten albums by the end of this year but time got away from us these holidays. I mean, as far as we know time is a relative thing and we've all probably been counting wrong anyway, so who's to say anything or anyone is ever late.
Anyway, these songs were originally recorded in our Loyola University dorm room 436 in 2009. We had no way of getting into the Loyola Studios at this time, so we did most tracking DI. And we had just reached an inception point for Handsomebeast, so our songwriting was at its baby stages. All we knew was that we loved to experiment with sounds, so we used guitars and midi synths.
We decided to put this up recently because we combined them with some recent drum tracks created just for these songs. We also had to go back and fix a lot of amateur mistakes in mixing. Regardless of how old these tracks are they still document a very important part of our lives and provide us with a chance to reveal ourselves artistically, as we were three years ago.
